Died: Exeter 1864. The most prolific of Devon artist engravers and lithographers, responsible for over 300 Devon scenes. First works published by John Wallis 1826. Later his own publisher. Moved to Cheltenham where in partnershp as Rowe and Norman, lithographic, copperplate and general letterpress printers. Also drawing master. In 1852 went to gold diggings in Bendigo, Australia to recoup fortunes. Returned to England 1858.
